  • 10+ years IT experience
  • Must be technically sound in modern Data Center practices and solutions including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, On-Demand Solutions, Cloud (Private, Hybrid, or Public) Solutions, Shared Services, etc
  • Significant industry experience in the roles of delivery management and leading business growth & ability to execute on a strategy
  • Proven ability to provide strategic and operating direction for Data Center including Desktops,
  • Networks and Applications as well as disaster recovery and business continuity functions
  • Can identify and articulate risk analysis and mitigating strategies and options aligned with business objectives
  • Effective team/relationship building experience required
  • Work location is Crofton, MD, however may be required to travel out of the area for business reasons such as relationship building, management meetings, team events etc
  • Must be ready for travel as required
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance
  • Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent related experience
    DUTIES:
  • As the Practice Manager, Data Center you will report to the VP. Sales Engineering, andbe responsible for technical Pre-Sales Consulting, leading a team of highly talented Data Center engineers, setting up technology vision for the Data Center practice and building relationships with our partners and customers
  • Providing thought leadership and innovation to develop the strategy, vision and intellectual assets to meet the objective of the consulting practice
  • Fostering long-term relationships with customers and partners
  • Managing and leading large customer opportunities, solution design and proposal activities
  • Responsible for developing Go to Market strategy and unique value proposition for Data Center products and services portfolio
  • Help establish our organization as the recognized leader in providing best in class “ after sale” efforts to our customers for Data Center solutions
  • Pursuing and participating in teaming opportunities in both public sector and commercial organizations
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and demand generation activities to drive growth
  • Aggressively work with sales to raise awareness of Data Center practice GTM strategy and offerings
  • Develop, implement, and measure strategic initiatives to improve service excellence and maximize profitability
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and overall departmental leadership to all direct reports
  • Partner with other departments to drive the overall success of the Data Center practice
  • With the support of senior leadership, optimize existing team to maintain high team efficiency and delivery capabilities for new technologies
